Open letter to employers:

Not everyone uses MS Word. This is especially true in computer science. If you want an electronic copy of my resume, that's fine, I can give it to you in PDF or PS or html or dvi (in the unlikely event that you want it in dvi). However, I don't use Word because it doesn't do what I want an editor / word processor to do. My resume is written in LaTeX which makes it (IMHO) look nicer than a word resume, but it isn't Word.

If, for some reason, you feel the need to EDIT my resume, umm, you can annotate the pdf in acrobat, but if you want to delete things, then don't do that.

In closing, if, for some reason, you NEED for me to use Word for my resume, screw it. I know beggars can't be choosers, but you gotta draw the line somewhere.

Sincerely, LBM
