Aggravation of the day
Jan. 25th, 2007 05:21 pmSo I have this interview at Virginia Wesleyan in a few weeks. I'm trying to get a talk together to give there. However, they don't seem to be able to explain to me what kind of talk they want. Do they want a research talk? (no) Do they want a lecture I'd give in class? (not really) The seem to want something in between and I have no idea what that is.
Also, since there's only one CS prof in the dept. It has to be understandable by the math faculty and faculty from other departments. So, I basically can't assume any CS knowledge.
Current plan is to give a lecture from one of my classes. Something fun like the halting problem or something.
Also, I'd tired, and grumpy. even after a medium mocha and a scone at 3:30. Maybe I'll bail on fencing tonight. But I have a tournament on Saturday... meh.
